When they met, Kage carried a blade of his own — Higan's twin, cold and silent. 'So there's still one left,' he smiled. 'Blades are always born in pairs, little heir. One for revenge, the other to stop it.'
Sakura tightened her grip on the hilt. The whisper began again, louder this time. For the first time, instead of smothering the blade's voice, she chose to listen. Perhaps the answer was hidden inside the very voice she feared.
